Website Design -Self Catering Cottages Scotland
The Challenge
Acre Estates had been managing 4 self catering cottages on a
Scottish Highland estate for several years. Early 2008, two
of the cottages were taken back by the estate for long term
occupancy. Two new properties were added to the portfolio,
one a new build in Perthshire countryside, the other in
Somerset. Because of the service levels they provide, a new
redesign was required to market these properties. The
requirement - an uncomplicated site that would be attractive
enough to impress visitors and simple to navigate and
understand.
They also wanted to widen audience and visitors as well as
enhance a better quality of enquiry.
Our Solution
With a clear understanding from our client that their
vision was for a clear crisp and simply eye catching design
that was uncomplicated to suit all users, we transformed
their old site with pastel colours which enhanced their
images.
The results were immediate and they received many
compliments from returning visitors. We are pleased to say
that the client has reported to be receiving over double the
visitors from their previous site, but more importantly, the
quality of enquiries has gone up dramatically.
